It's about meeting new people.

My mom started out with a gift store in Brookfield, IL in the mid-80's.  I got involved with making jewelry for the store and going to craft shows on the weekends.   When mom closed the store, we continued with the craft shows, constantly evolving and adding new products.    The main reason is we love getting out and meeting new people.  

 

Yes, the craft circuit is like a 3 ring circus.  Getting up early to set up, on your feet most of the day, then breaking down at night makes for a long day.  But it is fun and rewarding, especially when people love what you do.   When you see one of your items go by, it really gives you a thrill.
